The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of high-value, engineered-to-order projects. You will be the central pillar of the project, responsible for orchestrating everything from budget and schedule to suppliers and customer relationships, ensuring these critical systems are delivered flawlessly.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Full Project Ownership: You will lead projects from start to finish, managing resources, tracking costs to meet budget, and developing risk mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them constantly informed. You will also build strong relationships with local suppliers for the balance of plant scope, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the overall project schedule.
- Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering and sales teams to coordinate the entire project scope. You will lead crucial customer discussions during factory and site acceptance tests (FWT & SAT).
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically with engineered electrical power systems. Experience with Dynamic Uninterruptible Power Supply (DUPS) or the diesel generator industry is a major plus.
- A PMP certification (or similar) is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Willing to travel when needed.
