Job Summary
Support and lead end-to-end IT project management activities to deliver compliant, secure, and operationally effective systems. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to drive system development, procurement, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with business needs and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT system projects from budget request and tender award through implementation, maintenance, and support to deliver solutions within scope, budget, and timeline
- Lead user and vendor management, coordinating deployments including weekend support to ensure smooth system rollouts
- Ensure compliance with IM8 governance and audit requirements by managing resolution of VAPT findings and assessing audit and security risks
- Provide incident and case management support by troubleshooting issues, managing user support, and coordinating with relevant parties to minimize operational disruption
- Oversee procurement activities including preparing approval papers, defining technical specifications, reviewing vendor proposals, and ensuring proper contract execution
- Develop and maintain project documentation for approval processes and provide regular project updates to management
- Support systems during warranty and maintenance phases to maintain operational continuity and end-user satisfaction
- Coordinate meetings, track NOM reviews, and perform secretariat duties such as minute taking, agenda collation, and document circulation
- Write technical documentation including requirement specifications, system design documents, test plans, and reports to support project and operational needs
- Manage contract administration and vendor coordination to ensure service delivery and compliance
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Support system operations including infrastructure integration and service continuity for both on-premises and cloud environments
- Apply knowledge of cloud technology, application modernization, containers, and orchestration platforms to enhance system capabilities
- Integrate processes and data exchanges to optimize system interoperability and performance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certification in project management and/or technical domain
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in IT project and operations management
- Strong understanding of IM8 compliance and government procurement processes
