The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - BMS & IoT to lead the delivery of AI-enabled Smart Building and Smart Estate solutions within the built environment. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, ensuring successful deployment of intelligent, data-driven platforms that optimize building operations, sustainability, and occupant experience.

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, internal AI, software, and engineering teams, and external stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex projects that integrate Artificial Intelligence, IoT, BMS, and operational technologies across commercial and mixed-use environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the implementation of AI-powered Smart Estate and Smart Building solutions, including HVAC optimization, power and energy management, water management, lift/elevator systems, and integrated digital workplace platforms.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including AI engineers, software developers, system integrators, and site engineers to deliver integrated technology solutions.

• Oversee detailed system design and solution architecture, procurement of hardware and software components, project cost control, testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Ensure AI, IoT, and BMS solutions are deployed in alignment with defined performance metrics, data quality standards, cybersecurity requirements, and scalability goals.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, managing day-to-day project activities and fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.

• Work closely with clients to report project progress, identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Analyze implementation challenges and operational data to resolve issues, optimize system performance, and meet client expectations.

• Manage project changes related to scope, resources, schedule, and technology constraints while maintaining project integrity.

• Proactively plan and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery in accordance with approved project schedules.

• Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, and legal documentation are obtained prior to project commencement, and that all works comply with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and approved execution plans.

• Keep senior management informed of critical risks, issues, and changes that could impact project or business outcomes, and recommend alternative strategies where required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5-7 years of project management experience delivering BMS, HVAC, or smart building projects, with exposure to AI-driven software platforms, IoT solutions, or data-centric technologies.

• Strong understanding of IBMS, BMS, industrial automation, ACMV systems, and their integration with AI and cloud-based platforms.

• Working knowledge of AI, IoT architectures, data analytics, and digital transformation within the built environment.

• Proven capability in project finance, cost control, resource planning, and risk management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle independently, from concept to commissioning and handover.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.

• Strong leadership, adaptability, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, technical teams, and senior leadership.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business and operational outcomes.
