OVERVIEW
The Project Manager (Architectural & Faade) is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of architectural and faade construction projects from initiation to completion. This role focuses on ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
The position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders - including consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments-while driving project success and client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, manpower, and resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate all architectural and faade installation works, ensuring compliance with design intent, specifications, and safety standards.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring progress aligns with project milestones and timelines.
- Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues promptly in collaboration with consultants, drafters, and site teams.
2.Design & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and drafting teams to ensure shop drawings and fabrication details are accurate and approved before production.
- Review and validate technical submissions, samples, and mock-ups for client and consultant approval.
- Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure buildability and adherence to design intent.
- Lead technical meetings with consultants and clients to resolve design discrepancies or interface issues.
3.Cost & Commercial Control
- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered within approved financial targets.
- Monitor expenses, variations, and claims throughout the project lifecycle to maintain cost control and safeguard profitability.
- Review and endorse subcontractor progress claims, material requisitions, and project payments.
- Provide regular financial and progress updates to senior management.
4.Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works comply with architectural specifications, building codes, and statutory requirements.
- Implement quality control measures and perform regular site inspections to uphold workmanship and material standards.
- Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and Environmental Management System (EMS) compliance across all site activities.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness, quality, and continuous improvement among project teams and subcontractors.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and integrating best practices into future projects.
5.Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and drafters, to achieve performance excellence.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing to enhance project outcomes.
6.Stakeholder & Client Management
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on all project matters.
- Provide professional communication, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Manage change orders and variation submissions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
7.Project Handover & Close-Out
- Ensure completion of all project-related works within the stipulated timeline and quality requirements.
- Coordinate final inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Oversee the submission of as-built drawings, warranties, O&M manuals, and handover documentation to clients.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.
KEY COMPETENCIES

REQUIREMENTS
. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building & Construction, or equivalent discipline.
. Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience, preferably in architectural and/or faade related works within the Singapore construction industry.
. Proven track record in managing subcontractors, design coordination, and on-site execution for medium to large-scale projects.
. Familiar with BCA codes, workplace safety regulations, and local authority submission requirements.
. Possess Safety for Project Managers course or equivalent certification.
. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to lead and motivate teams under tight schedules and demanding project environments.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The standard working week is five and a half (5.5) days however, you may be required to work on Saturdays and Sundays
