Job Descriptions
1. To prepare the site for work, which may include planning the work schedules, and establishing on site offices, in accordance to the objectives established by the Project Manager
2. To monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are met
3. To ensure good / safe working conditions and that the well-being of workers are the site are taken care of
4. To coordinate and oversee delivery of materials
5. To conduct safety checks
6. To manage and address work related issues as they arise
7. Formulate the construction as well as maintenance plan
8. Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, contractors as necessary
9. Ensure that work complies with building regulations, safety codes, design, quality etc
10. Provide regular progress reports to management
11. Act as the first point of contact for the Company at the site.
12. Prepare and submit documentation, i.e. EOT, schedule of the works, progress reports, method statement, etc.
13. Managing subcontractors and suppliers that their works are carried out effectively and efficiently
14. Able to oversee several projects at same time.
