Job Description

Project Manager & Operations Support – AI Data Centre (AIDC)

Singapore (Pasir Panjang) | Full-time | On-site delivery across North America, Australia & Southeast Asia

About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered AI infrastructure solutions provider. It sells its own hardware and software and provides end-to-end services for AI data centres. Its portfolio covers high-performance AI servers, 800VDC power solutions, high-density liquid cooling, AI cloud and AI agents. Clients include enterprises, research institutions and cloud/edge computing deployments worldwide.

This hire is for the group's global services arm, which provides end-to-end technical services to clients deploying the group's products and AIDC solutions.

The Role

This role combines project management with service operations. You will own AIDC projects from AI server installation, networking, performance tuning and testing through to full data centre deployment. You will also manage external service partners against SLAs and act as the business process link between the services arm and the wider group.

Why This Role

  • You run AIDC projects yourself and also own service operations and SLA management
  • You join a diverse international team that uses standardised global project management systems
  • You are based in Singapore with exposure to regional and global projects
  • You own the full project lifecycle and keep improving service processes

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Act as primary project owner, accountable for schedule, workflow and cost across the project lifecycle
  • Define objectives, scope and responsibilities; build detailed implementation plans and phased task breakdowns
  • Set up and lead project teams; run kick-offs and daily/weekly meetings with clients and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal and external resources; identify and resolve on-site risks and technical/operational issues on your own
  • Track progress and quality; send regular standardised status reports to stakeholders
  • Manage all project documentation and deliverables according to PM standards and client requirements
  • Drive final acceptance and sign-off with clients; lead post-project reviews

Service Operations & SLA Management

  • Provide maintenance-focused operations support and coordinate with internal cross-functional teams
  • Manage external service partners: monitor SLA compliance, close service gaps early and run regular vendor performance reviews
  • Improve maintenance workflows and standardise SOPs in line with quality and safety requirements
  • Track operational metrics and prepare reports that support decision-making
  • Help resolve urgent maintenance issues quickly
  • Initiate and track internal workflows with the group, including service quotations and procurement requests
  • Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years combined experience across data centre design, deployment, installation, O&M, and maintenance support / vendor management
  • Hands-on experience in SLA management, vendor management and end-to-end process optimisation
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification
  • Skilled with mainstream project management tools
  • Solid IT systems fundamentals and a clear understanding of Ethernet networking principles
  • Familiar with core DC infrastructure such as cabinets, PDUs and supporting facilities
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate across teams and resolve issues independently within your remit
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin, as the role works with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across the group

Good to Have

  • Hands-on installation, commissioning and maintenance of GPU servers for AI workloads
  • Knowledge of liquid cooling principles and liquid-cooled server deployment
  • Linux certification (e.g. RHCE)
  • Network certification (e.g. CCNP, CCIE, HCIE)
  • Experience with CMMS, procurement or enterprise operations tools

All applications will be treated with strictest confidence. We regret to inform you that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
