Project Manager (ACMV/ HVAC, Site Management)

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of HVAC ducting works, from initial planning to final completion

• Establish and schedule project activities in line with the approved timeline

• Optimize the deployment of manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely delivery of milestones

• Work closely with main contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution

Compliance & Safety (CSCPM)

• Ensure adherence to CSCPM (Construction Safety Compliance & Project Management) requirements at all times

• Enforce site safety measures in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations

• Maintain comprehensive records for permits, safety compliance, and site activities

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Ensure all HVAC ducting works meet project specifications, including cleanroom and pharmaceutical standards

• Manage QA/QC activities such as inspections, testing, and proper documentation

• Collaborate with the QA/QC team to resolve NCRs and close punch list items promptly

• Ensure all works comply with applicable standards, including SMACNA, SS553, and project-specific requirements

Commercial & Contract Administration

• Prepare and submit progress claims in accordance with contractual terms and completed work

• Monitor project progress against contractual milestones and ensure accurate valuation

• Administer variation orders (VO), while maintaining cost control and budget management

• Coordinate with clients and consultants on claim submissions, certifications, and approvals

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

• Chair and lead site, progress, and coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders

• Proactively resolve site challenges, including design clashes and coordination issues

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Supervise testing and commissioning activities to ensure system performance meets requirements

• Manage the project handover process, ensuring all deliverables are completed

• Ensure submission of complete documentation, including as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• With 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience in HVAC and ducting projects

• Demonstrated experience in managing pharmaceutical or cleanroom environments

• Strong familiarity with QA/QC processes and industry standards, including SMACNA, SS553, and GMP requirements

• Hands-on experience in CSCPM compliance and site safety management practices

• Good understanding of contract administration, including progress claims and variation orders (VO)

• Effective leadership, with strong communication and coordination abilities

• Capable of managing multiple stakeholders while delivering projects within tight timelines
