Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop overall project execution plans, timelines, work schedules, and milestones.
Prepare resource plans including manpower, machinery, and materials.
Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Project Execution & Supervision
Oversee day-to-day site progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulations.
Conduct technical review of drawings, BOQs, method statements, and construction methodologies.
Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve technical issues.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare project budgets, cost estimations, and cash flow planning.
Track project expenditures and implement cost-saving measures.
Evaluate and approve supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Quality & Safety Management
Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks.
Verify materials, workmanship, and workmanship quality meets project requirements.
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Resolve site delays, contractual disputes, and design variations.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with government agencies, consultants, architects, and clients for approvals.
Conduct progress meetings, prepare reports, and present project updates.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation including progress reports, RFI, change orders, and completion certificates.
Prepare handover documents and manage project closure activities.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge in civil engineering, construction methodologies, and building codes.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, BIM preferred).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5-15 years experience in civil construction management.
PMP, RICS, or related certification (Optional but preferred).
