Job Summary
Lead the overall execution and successful completion of construction projects by preparing and monitoring construction programmes, appraising techniques, resolving technical issues, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor Master and Short-term Construction Programmes to ensure timely project progress
- Appraise construction techniques and method statements for suitability and effectiveness
- Perform simple design calculations to support project requirements
- Monitor daily project operations to maintain workflow and address issues promptly
- Supervise and track project progress to meet milestones and quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical problems encountered during construction activities
- Communicate effectively with Clients, Consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project operations
- Ensure all construction work complies with specific drawings, certifications, and quality requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors to align their activities with project schedules and standards
- Oversee the implementation of the Project Quality Plan to maintain high-quality outcomes
- Enforce safety regulations and promote good housekeeping practices at the construction site
- Manage the processing and finalisation of claims related to the project
