Job Description

About Us

SPH Media's mission is to be the trusted source of news and lifestyle content in Singapore and Asia. One of our core purposes is to produce credible, balanced, and objective news and analysis, always with a view to uphold the public good and fostering an informed, engaged citizenry.

We welcome talented individuals to join us and grow a career in a vibrant and collaborative environment built around a culture of respect and inclusivity.

As an employer, we are committed to rewarding our people fairly and developing them in their careers.

About the role

The Project Management Lead is responsible for the client partnerships and delivery for SPH Media's new Content-as-a-Service (CaaS) capability, within the international-award-winning Content & Solutioning Division.

CaaS works with government and regulated-sector organisations to create editorially rigorous, multi-format content from long-form publications and thought-leadership editorial, to video, digital / social and campaign outputs. These are high-trust projects with real public impact, often involving complex subject matter and multiple stakeholders.

Working closely with the Associate Director, Content-as-a-Service, you'll play a central role in shaping how this work comes to life helping to develop proposals, craft strategy, engage clients and translate ideas into well-run, high-quality projects.

This is a role for someone who understands both how good content is conceived and how it is delivered someone who is comfortable in conversations with clients, confident shaping ideas and proposals, and strong at organising people, timelines and production to make the work happen as pitched, on brief, on time, on budget, and to standard.

This is a 2-year contract, with renewal possibilities.

What you'll do

Shape projects from brief to proposal:

  • Work with the Associate Director to interpret client briefs and develop content approaches and proposals.
  • Drive idea development, content strategy, timelines and delivery models.
  • Lead client discussions and presentations where required.

Lead delivery of multi-format projects:

  • Own project planning, timelines and delivery frameworks across editorial, design, video and digital outputs.
  • Translate strategy into clear execution plans and production workflows.
  • Ensure alignment between creative direction, client expectations and delivery timelines.

Build and manage client relationships:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients across the lifecycle of a project.
  • Manage expectations, timelines and approvals with clarity and confidence.
  • Build trusted working relationships with government stakeholders and partners.

Coordinate teams and production:

  • Manage workflows across internal teams, freelancers and external production partners.
  • Ensure the right people are involved at the right stages of the project.
  • Keep projects moving smoothly across multiple formats and deliverables.

Manage budgets, resourcing and delivery quality:

  • Track project budgets, vendor costs and production spend.
  • Work with the Associate Director to plan resourcing across projects.
  • Ensure all work goes through proper review and quality control processes.

Who we're looking for

You're likely to have:

  • Experience in agency, media, content, production or integrated communications environments.
  • A strong understanding of how editorial, design and video/audio content is developed and delivered.
  • Deep experience managing clients, proposals and multi-stakeholder projects.
  • The ability to contribute to ideas, approaches and content formats not just execution.
  • Earned confidence working with government or regulated-sector clients.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and calm under pressure.

You're someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action shaping ideas, working with clients, and making sure the work actually gets done properly.

What this role is not

  • Not a pure admin or traffic management role
  • Not a pure sales or business development role
  • Not a purely creative strategy role

This is a hybrid role that blends strategy, client management and delivery.

Why this role is interesting

You'll be one of the core people building a new capability inside SPH Media working directly with senior leadership, engaging high-trust clients, and delivering projects that combine editorial craft, creative thinking and real public impact.

It's a role for someone who wants ownership, variety and the chance to build something meaningful from the ground up, working across formats, topics and audiences, and helping shape how this capability grows.

The team's work has been recognised internationally by organisations such as The Drum, the Content Marketing Association, the Content Marketing Institute, and WAN-IFRA including multiple wins for public-sector, video and multiformat work. It's a place for people who like ideas, enjoy solving complex briefs, and want to make work that is smart, credible, entertaining, and genuinely impactful.
