Job Overview:
The Project Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data science and AI projects, from scoping and planning to execution, evaluation, and deployment. The role requires working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to drive tech-enabled change in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver data science/AI projects: scoping, planning, execution, risk management, closure.
- Translate business problems into analytical project plans with clear milestones.
- Collaborate with business & technical teams to define deliverables and align priorities.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and task prioritization.
- Provide regular status updates on risks and milestones.
- Ensure documentation, stakeholder approvals, and smooth project handover.
- Present results in a business-friendly format and gather feedback.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics or related field.
- 3 years experience as a project manager for data science/AI/ML projects.
- Proven track record of managing the full data science lifecycle (ideation production).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms(GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Proactive, independent, strong ownership.
- (Nice to have) Hands-on data science/AI experience or certifications.
