Role Overview
The Project Lead will oversee the successful execution of large-scale, complex, technology-driven transformation initiatives, managing the full project lifecycle across multiple industries. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end data science and AI projectsfrom requirements gathering and model development to evaluation and deployment of scalable solutionswhile working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data science and AI projects through all phases, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
- Translate complex business challenges into clear analytical questions and actionable project plans with defined scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, establish deliverables, and align on priorities.
- Manage and prioritize tasks based on business value, technical feasibility, and available resources, while maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Provide clear updates on project progress, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders.
- Ensure thorough documentation, secure stakeholder approvals, and facilitate smooth transition to business-as-usual teams.
- Present findings in a business-friendly format and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience managing data science or AI/ML projects or products.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing the data science lifecycle from concept to production.
- Solid knowledge of project management approaches (e.g., Agile, Scrum) tailored to data science projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment and manage expectations.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Data science or AI-related experience, qualification, or certification is preferred.
