Project Finance Associate

A globally renowned U.S. law firm is seeking an outstanding mid-level associate to join its award-winning Project Finance practice in Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team that handles some of the most significant and complex energy and infrastructure transactions across Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region.

Working alongside leading partners in the field, you will advise sponsors, lenders, and government entities on the financing and development of landmark projects in sectors including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and transport infrastructure.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core financing and security documentation.
• Managing complex due diligence processes.
• Advising on risk allocation and bankability issues.
• Playing a key role in transaction management from inception to financial close.
• Mentoring and supervising junior team members.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of three years&apos post-qualification experience in project finance.
• A strong academic background and qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales or as a New York attorney.
• Experience gained at a highly regarded U.S., Magic Circle, or Silver Circle law firm, known for its strength in finance.
• Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
