Job Summary
Join our expanding team as a Project Engineer to support project planning, execution, and site operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance in air-conditioning and mechanical engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities at the construction site to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare formal project progress reports and documentation to track milestones and inform stakeholders
- Oversee daily construction site operations, including planning, cost control, and shop drawing submission and approval processes
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to scheduled deadlines and adjust plans as needed
- Coordinate with authorities, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align project requirements and resolve issues
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify installation compliance with approved drawings, specifications, methods, procedures, and materials
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor work to maintain quality and schedule standards
- Attend site meetings and inspections, reporting site progress regularly to the Project Manager
- Identify and resolve engineering and technical issues promptly to minimize project delays
- Support site safety and health management by assisting in implementing safety protocols and monitoring compliance
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager to support project success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably 2-3 years experience in Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) projects.
- Candidates with over 8 years experience in ACMV system may be considered for senior roles.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated teamwork, strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at West zone locations.
