Purpose:
The Project Engineer will provide engineering support, oversee project documentation, and coordinate site activities, ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of Combined Cycle Power (CCP) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- Provide electrical engineering support and act as a liaison for clients on technical matters.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, review design documents, and assist in troubleshooting engineering issues.
- Maintain project records, including technical documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties, to ensure timely project deliverables.
- Support procurement-related activities by tracking materials and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Assist in project scheduling, tracking milestones, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Any other duties deemed necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or power-related projects is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage both administrative and engineering tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and coordination.
- Able to work independently, a strong team player, and handle fast-paced projects
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
