Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer requirements to develop detailed designs, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs meet both internal standards and client specifications.
- Prepare and maintain equipment datasheets, valve lists, and piping schedules.
- Coordinate with drafters to produce accurate 3D models for process systems and skids.
- Review and evaluate vendor and subcontractor submissions for technical compliance.
- Oversee all technical aspects of assigned projects and ensure alignment across engineering functions.
- Plan and manage engineering schedules, forecasts, and project deliverables.
- Track progress and prepare status reports, change orders, and updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with codes, engineering standards, and project requirements.
- Drive effective communication and coordination among internal teams and external partners.
- Support cost tracking and ensure accurate reporting for project closure and accounting.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min Degree in Electrical Engineering/Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Min 4 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledgeable in water treatment, wastewater, or environmental engineering.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willing to travel overseas.
