Jacobs is hiring a Project Engineer to join our Water business in Singapore. You will join the team that working closely with our client on crucial water resource management projects across Singapore.
Main duties:
- Co-lead project delivery with Project Managers across multiple water and drainage infrastructure assignments.
- Drive the permitting and consultation process, coordinating proactively with statutory authorities and utility agencies.
- Serve as a client-facing representative, working closely with Project Managers to manage expectations, resolve issues, and maintain relationships.
- Co-chair client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and ensure timely communication.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and modelling, including stormwater systems and pressure pipelines.
- Support site activities such as supervision of investigation works and pipeline installation when required.
- Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and project deliverables.
- Manage project documentation, including proper archiving of communication and data.
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
- A Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering from a BCA/PEB-recognized university.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil or water infrastructure projects.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with hydraulic modelling or calculations (stormwater or pressure pipes) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including MS Project) and basic navigation skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- A self-driven, collaborative mindset, with a desire to grow professionally.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English.
- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
Note: indicated monthly salary range will x12 per annum all-in.
