Project Engineer

Vita Partners is Asia-Pacific's largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform, backed by an Australian headquartered multinational real estate company and leading US private equity growth investor. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments - a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients. The investment management business currently manages SGD 2 billion of AUM on behalf of institutional investors, with strong aspirations for growth within the region.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Coordination & Execution

. Contribute to routine project phases under the direction of relevant supervisors.

. Identify issues and/or non-conformances for the attention of senior staff to ensure project quality and safety.

. Support the daily management of on-site subcontractors to ensure alignment with the master project schedule.

Engineering & Technical Support

. Perform routine engineering duties and tasks under supervision, which may involve researching, gathering, and correlating basic data.

. Undertake basic testing and/or analysis as directed to verify that technical installations meet stringent client/regulatory specifications.

Reporting & Compliance

. Contribute to the preparation of construction reports, contracts, and schedules as directed, ensuring strict alignment with company procedures.

. Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety regulations.

. Assist in the compilation of turnover packages and commissioning data for project closeout.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying.

. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.

. Previous exposure to high-tech or industrial construction environments is an advantage.

. Strong skills in data gathering and technical research to support engineering decisions.

. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

. Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Project) exposure to BIM, Procore, or Primavera P6 is highly regarded
