The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments - a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients. The investment management business currently manages SGD 2 billion of AUM on behalf of institutional investors, with strong aspirations for growth within the region.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Coordination & Execution
. Contribute to routine project phases under the direction of relevant supervisors.
. Identify issues and/or non-conformances for the attention of senior staff to ensure project quality and safety.
. Support the daily management of on-site subcontractors to ensure alignment with the master project schedule.
Engineering & Technical Support
. Perform routine engineering duties and tasks under supervision, which may involve researching, gathering, and correlating basic data.
. Undertake basic testing and/or analysis as directed to verify that technical installations meet stringent client/regulatory specifications.
Reporting & Compliance
. Contribute to the preparation of construction reports, contracts, and schedules as directed, ensuring strict alignment with company procedures.
. Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety regulations.
. Assist in the compilation of turnover packages and commissioning data for project closeout.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying.
. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
. Previous exposure to high-tech or industrial construction environments is an advantage.
. Strong skills in data gathering and technical research to support engineering decisions.
. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
. Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Project) exposure to BIM, Procore, or Primavera P6 is highly regarded
