Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from quotation stage through production and final delivery. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue project quotations based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications
Follow up on projects upon confirmation, ensuring smooth handover from sales to operations
Manage projects end-to-end, including:
Material planning and ordering
Preparation and control of route cards
Coordination of production planning and scheduling
Monitoring fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes
Ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers
Liaise with internal departments such as production, purchasing, and QA to resolve project-related issues
Track project progress and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements
Support continuous improvement in project execution and workflow efficiency
Requirements / Qualifications
NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, including welding symbols and machining details
With experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication will be an added advantage
Familiar with production processes, route cards, and material planning
Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
Working Conditions
5-day work week
Location: Tuas
Salary Range: SGD$3,500 - $5,000 (commensurate with experience)
