Job Summary
As a Project Engineer (System Integration), you will lead system integration verification, interface testing, and technical problem resolution to ensure seamless equipment installation and system functionality within project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform system integration verification and execute interface testing to validate system performance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports to support project requirements
- Analyze and troubleshoot interface and system engineering issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Propose and implement technical solutions to resolve integration problems and system engineering challenges
- Oversee proper installation of equipment onto platforms, including generating Installation Control Documents and Cable Running Sheets
- Monitor and report progress of work to ensure project milestones are met
- Maintain records of interface problems and system engineering issues for continuous improvement
- Interpret mechanical and electrical wiring diagrams to support installation and troubleshooting activities
- Understand system network connectivity diagrams, including basic knowledge of switches and routers, to support integration tasks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computing, or Communication
- 1-3 ys experience
- Applicants with no experience are welcomed to apply
- Experience in project coordination and people management
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio to support project documentation and planning
- Strong presentation skills with effective networking and interpersonal abilities to engage stakeholders
- Ability to work independently within tight schedules and dynamic environments
- Knowledge of Project Management and System Engineering principles
