Job Summary
Lead and coordinate engineering projects for BMS, Environmental, and Water Quality Systems, driving project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure successful completion and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead project engineering, planning, and coordination activities for BMS, Environmental, and Water Quality System projects to achieve timely and quality delivery
- Develop detailed proposals, technical specifications, project plans, and schedules to guide project execution and resource allocation
- Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines
- Participate in project and site meetings and inspections to address progress, challenges, and compliance requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members to resolve issues and enhance project outcomes
- Supervise daily site activities, enforcing quality standards, safety protocols, and project delivery requirements
- Collaborate closely with contractors and authorities to secure site access, manage tasks, and troubleshoot on-site issues effectively
- Manage project progress by tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure smooth project completion
- Deliver accurate and timely project status updates to management for informed decision-making
- Address maintenance issues during the warranty period to uphold system performance and client satisfaction
- Implement and enforce safe work procedures and environmental control measures at project sites to maintain compliance and safety
- Identify project risks and escalate issues promptly to mitigate impact on project delivery
- Prepare and manage project costing, proposals, and quotations, including sourcing materials and parts to optimize project budgets
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering and management demonstrating ability to lead and deliver engineering projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude with initiative and the ability to work independently
