Job Summary
Lead and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects focused on Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute M&E projects with a focus on ACMV systems from initiation through completion to meet project goals.
- Achieve project objectives by managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and interpret project specifications, technical drawings, and engineering submissions to guide project activities.
- Manage procurement schedules to secure timely delivery of materials and equipment essential for project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and enforce compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, variation orders, and testing and commissioning records.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, building codes, and workplace safety and health regulations to maintain project integrity and safety.
Required competencies and certifications
- ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry, preferably in M&E and ACMV systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks effectively.
