JOB BRIEF
A professional who is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. They plan, schedule and manage all technical tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all projects.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects.
- Create and execute project work plans, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the work site.
- Oversee, guide and delegate task diligently to project team on daily project activities.
- Prepare and manage all safety requirements including Method of Procedure, Safe Work Procedure, Risk Assessment, Permit to Work and other permits associated with the project.
- Review and maintain project documentation with customers, contractors and authorities required by clients for final acceptance of the project.
- Review targets at every project phase to ensure the project is within budget in terms of costs and its schedule timeframe.
- Work with allocated resources to ensure alignment of interest within business activities.
- Upon completion of projects, evaluate with management on project results and provide recommendations for future improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably with 2 years relevant work experience.
- Willingness to travel and be site based for projects.
- 5.5 days work week.
- A team player with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong analytical, planning, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- BCSS /CSCPM/Bizsafe Level 2 certification.
