Job Description:
- Project Planning & Coordination
Assist in planning project timelines, work schedules, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. - Site Supervision
Monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Supervise workers and subcontractors, resolving technical and operational issues on-site. - Technical Support
Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Provide engineering solutions and support during construction works. - Progress Monitoring
Track project progress and update management on work status.
Ensure that works are completed on time and within budget. - Quality Assurance
Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure works meet required standards.
Report and rectify any defects or non-conformities. - Documentation & Reporting
Prepare reports, work schedules, and project documentation.
Ensure all project-related documents are properly filed and updated. - Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations. Participate in risk assessments and tool-box meetings.
Requirements:
1. Minimum with ITE or Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction industry, preferably
steelworks.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and basic engineering software.
4. Proficient in MS Office applications
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work
effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of collaborating
effectively within a team environment as well as working independently.
