Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Singapore. The Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, working closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure work is carried out according to design, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing technical documentation and reports, resolving site issues, coordinating materials and resources, and assisting in cost and time control. The role also involves conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement of construction processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in building projects with ArchiWorks experience in Singapore is preferred.
• Strong project coordination and site management skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking.
• Ability to prepare and review technical documents, reports, and method statements with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for working with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and site personnel.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address site challenges and propose practical, safe solutions.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to Singapore's construction industry.
• Proficiency with common engineering and construction-related software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools; familiarity with BIM or CAD is an advantage).
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality assurance, and continuous professional development.
