Job Summary
Manage and lead project execution to deliver industrial equipment and machinery projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards, ensuring seamless handover to customers and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination with Sales, Design (Mechanical, Structure, Electrical), Technical (Project, Installation, Production), and Material departments to optimize project management and execution effectiveness
- Manage project schedules, ensuring delivery dates and installation milestones meet customer requirements and contractual terms
- Monitor and control project budgets, cash flow projections, and progressive payment claims to maintain financial health and report cost variances to management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes and execution records, to support claims management and extension of time requests
- Foster strong working relationships with site parties to ensure smooth project progress and adherence to scope of work
- Supervise installation teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope of work, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols
- Communicate proactively with Main Contractor, Consultant, and Owner regarding project schedules, site facilities, and customer change requests, ensuring commercial impacts are addressed and documented
- Review and approve Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) documents such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures, Fall Prevention Plans, Lifting Plans, Safety Management Systems, and Permits to Work to ensure safe execution of work
- Prevent Liquidated Damages (LD) by ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements throughout project lifecycle
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial equipment and machinery project management, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Fundamental knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
