Project Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Project Engineer to plan and deliver CCTV and security system projects. You'll coordinate with customers, site teams, suppliers, and installers to make sure each project is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, drawings, site conditions, and technical specifications.
• Plan installation work, schedules, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, technicians, and suppliers.
• Support the installation and configuration of CCTV cameras, video management systems, recording equipment, and related network infrastructure.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and timelines resolve site issues as they arise.
• Conduct or coordinate system testing, commissioning, handover, and user training.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, test records, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.
• Ensure work follows relevant safety requirements, company procedures, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during installation and after project handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Security Systems, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with CCTV or ELV system installation, project coordination, or engineering.
• Familiarity with IP cameras, video management systems, network video recorders, and basic networking.
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot system issues.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at project sites and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
