Job Summary
The Project Engineer will execute projects related to Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Monitoring Systems (PMS) for mission critical, commercial, industrial, and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, fast learning and adaptability soft-skill and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the built environment space.
Responsibilities
- Manage BMS and PMS projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate project activities with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align objectives and resolve issues
- Design, configure, and commission BMS and PMS systems applying application engineering expertise to optimize system performance
- Program Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Direct Digital Control (DDC), or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems to meet project specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain system reliability and functionality
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather data for accurate project planning and execution
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support project tracking and compliance
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to provide updates and technical support
- Deliver technical support and customer training sessions as required to enhance user competence and satisfaction
- Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company safety policies
- Perform on-site work as necessary to oversee project implementation and quality assurance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- 0-2 years of experience in BMS, PMS, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
