Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

. Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

. Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project-related matters.

. Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, work schedules, and technical submissions.

. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues arising during construction.

. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

. Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and cost control.

. Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.

. Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders.

. Support project managers in the successful delivery of construction projects.

Job Requirements

. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry in Singapore.

. Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret engineering and construction drawings.

. Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, codes, and industry practices.

. Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

. Possess a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience in building, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.

. Knowledge of Microsoft Project, BIM software, or other engineering software will be an advantage.

. Possession of relevant safety certifications will be an added advantage.
