Project Engineer, Electrical

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled air conditioning installation supervisor. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing the air-conditioning installation teams in carrying out their work efficiently and safely, while maintaining a high-quality standard of work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

. Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electrical supervisors and skilled workers

. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team.

1. Stakeholders management:

. Coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors as well as other trades subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works

1. Technical Expertise:

. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, supervisors and skilled workers in executing their works according to technical specifications and drawings, as well as prevailing codes and regulations.

. Ensure smooth execution of works in timely manner to meet project schedule

. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in air conditioning systems.

1. Budget Management:

. Manage the project budget in materials and manpower

. Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.

1. Compliance and Safety:

. Ensure compliance with industry regulations,safety standards, and company policies.

. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.

1. Reporting:

. Provide updates to senior management on departmental performance and challenges.

1. Continuous Improvement:

. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

. Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in air conditioning repair and maintenance.

Qualificationsand Requirements

Education &Certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Technical Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical installation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Soft Skills

• Good leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Good critical thinking and problem- solving ability.
