Project Engineer

Job Description

Assisting and working under the direction of the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer:

1) Project Planning and Progress Controlling - Collaborates with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines. Understand the specific requirements of the project.

2) Design and Engineering - Collaborates with the design team to ensure that the designs are workable and meet technical specifications.

3) Safety and Compliance - Ensures all work carried out follows the safety regulations and industry best practices.

4) Quality Control - Monitors the work quality, conducts inspections and ensures that the work carried out meets the required quality standards.

5) Procurement - Plans the hand tools, materials, and other equipment procurement required for the project.

6) Resource Management - Responsible for coordinating resources, including general labor, equipment and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

7) Problem Solving - Plays an important role in identifying and resolving any problems and issues arising on site.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  
• Understanding of fundamental engineering principles, construction methods and practices.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, stress, detailed work and meeting deadlines. Must possess a strong desire to learn, the resilience to navigate challenges, motivated by continuous improvement, and the ability to face challenges with maturity and perseverance are essential.
  
• Comfortable with working outside of normal work hours including working over the weekends where required.
