Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative cooling and mechanical systems projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Develop, plan, and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and management.

Technical Engineering

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost evaluations for proposed projects.

• Select suitable materials, equipment, and fabrication methods to optimise system performance and reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with design, supply chain, and quality control teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Problem Solving & Technical Support

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during project execution.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians where required.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or project management

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor)

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and system design

Travel Requirement
