Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Project Manager, to conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions, tracking and driving issue resolution.

Support Project Manager in driving BIM workflows, standards enforcement, and deliverables management.

Assist in preparing and updating the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in line with the Singapore BIM Guide and project requirements.

Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.

Maintain communication with design consultants and all stakeholders to ensure model-site alignment

Coordinate design models with other disciplines to ensure accuracy, clash-free design, and compliance with BIM standards and LOD.

Review and manage data exchange of models to ensure completeness and quality.

Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals, and make adjustments according to needs as they arise.

Support submission of BIM models and drawings to local authorities

Document and report project progress to collaborators and clients.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

At least 5 years of experience as Project Engineer with BIM project coordination or model management and excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems and tools.

Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.

Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, etc.

Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of BIM/VDC/IDD concepts certification preferred.
