Job Scope
Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects from start to finish
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate progress
Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely project completion
Oversee the construction process, including site visits, inspections, and quality control
Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies
Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards
Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, proposals, and design drawings
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the civil/structural engineering industry
Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects from inception to completion
Strong technical skills in project planning, design, and construction management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
Thorough understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards
