Project Engineer (Civil Engineer, construction)

. Location: Tanjong Pagar

. Working hours: 08:00 to 17:30 (Monday to Friday) and 08:00 -12:00 (Saturdays, 1 Sat off per month)

. Fixed allowances + VB

. Additional headcount due to project expansion

Job responsibilities:

• Assist the Project/Site Manager in project planning, coordinate, execute and monitor all works on site
• Responsible for daily site operation, monitoring and coordinating work with supervisors
• Supervise the team and ensure high standard of safety practices are carried out at all times
• Plan daily project activities and monitor progress to ensure civil and structural activities meet project specifications and project schedule
• Undertake design and construction issues concerning all works, provide engineering inputs, resolve technical problems and ensure quality of projects
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project including the Main contractor, relevant authorities, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers
• Coordinate with procurement on delivery items and schedule
• Ensure all project documentations (method of statement, work progress reports, daily reports, QA/QC report etc.) are submitted in a timely manner.
• Any other adhoc duties assigned by the Project Manager

Job requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and have good communication skills
• Willing to work at project sites
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• With relevant WSQ certification, you will have an added advantage
