Job Summary

You will lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client needs while producing accurate technical drawings and calculations to support marine and offshore steel fabrication.

Responsibilities

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications to uphold quality assurance
Engage with clients to interpret and clarify their technical needs and project requirements
Create technical drawings by following specifications and performing necessary calculations for materials and weight limits
Develop rough sketches and detailed designs using CADD systems to support fabrication processes
Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare, review, and draft engineering documents and drawings
Identify potential design issues and communicate them promptly to the engineering team for resolution
Apply AutoCAD and MS Office software skills to produce and manage engineering documentation
Demonstrate resourcefulness, independence, and attention to detail in completing engineering tasks
Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written Chinese language skills preferred for vendor and supplier interactions
Willingness to go the extra mile to meet customer requirements and project goals
Perform any other duties as assigned by management related to company operations and business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Degree preferred)
Approximately 2 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in a fabrication environment
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance system
Drafting skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
