During Engineering stage and Procurement Stage
- Able to generate Project Quality Plan and understand and follow the workflow in QMS.
- Re-review EVI list and Datasheets.
- Give inputs to engineering if any concern.
- Check and understand the project specs and requirements.
- Check MDL docs on QA/QC i.e FAT/ SAT and generate or liaise with vendor if need to add another document.
- Undertake any assigned Engineering Dept tasks with support.
- Check MDL Testing and Commissioning Plan.
- Check shipping plan doc.
- Generate Handling, Storage, Preservation Requirements Documents.
- Compile all vendors Quality Document which reflected in contract.
- Check ITP in MDL (general for workshop & site).
- Set up the QAQC folders in project folders
During Procurement Stage up to Materials Delivery
- Chase supplier for Quality documents (ITP, Test Procedure and Reporting) before delivery.
- Perform checking and Inspecting testing and work at vendors workshop in Philippines or if necessary, abroad.
- Check when the materials/ equipment after arrived site laydown.
- Signed vendor delivery order when receive at good condition and as specs , material receipts.
- Do reporting when there is a defect.
- Make sure all worker at vendors shop is qualified to do work, do competencies test for worker to pass.
- Make sure and maintain that equipment has been stored in good condition.
- Maintain daily/ weekly log check for storage equipment.
- Make Defect List/ Punch List to vendors based on Quality check and findings.
During Construction
- Make Civil Inspection Check/ Defect List before civil handover.
- Make sure all worker at site is qualified to do work, do competencies test for worker to pass.
- Make sure and maintain equipment temporary storage in good condition.
- Perform Request of Inspection, Perform Testing, and do reporting and get it in specs.
- Perform Quality Check prior, during and after construction.
- Perform Quality check and construction testing and hand over to commissioning team.
- Final Book.
Office
- Ensure all the work tasks are following the requirement as mentioned in the QMS system.
- Work closely with other engineering team members to ensure support is provided, eg. work with other disciplines for interface alignment.
- Understand project contractual specifications for quality and the inspection release processes and compliance procedures of FHI.
- Follow up with vendors to submit their QAQC required documents and drawings.
- Develop, issue, review & approve ITP, FAT, table of contents for MDR etc, documents.
- Ensure all certification requirements are clearly identified, understood and included with the requisition and PO.
- Compile the final books from an early stage, as information is gathered.
- Update quality files and maintain the project quality folder.
- Based in Project Office.
Site
- Liaise with the client to understand handover and interface items and issues.
- Maintain clear, detailed site files & documentation.
- Maintain smooth daily communication with FHI counterparts.
- Lead quality with the BW Water subcontractors (mechanical and electrical).
- Validate steel welders and maintain all test package files.
- Lead and follow the site ITP and SAT procedures.
Laydown
- Be part of the sign off on delivery orders from goods coming in.
- Checking packing list vs actual and making reports for damages, if any.
- Liaising to create and maintain the map of goods for each site within the warehouse using a grid system.
- Ensure storage is correct for type of goods for laydown.
Vendor Location
- Go to vendor factories for regular ITP checks and for FAT.
- Follow up with punch list work until goods are fit for shipment out.
- Vendors are a mix of fabricators & product manufacturers
General
- Maintain effective communication with all internal and external relevant disciplines.
- Attend meeting with client from time to time subject to the project location and need.
- Carry out and ensure good filing system for electronic and hard copy documents and is easily retrievable.
- Handle any tasks assigned by Superior from time to time.
