Qualification

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Years of Experience

3-5 years civil engineering project management / building construction in construction industry is required.

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer/Site Engineer (Building Construction) is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project, ensure the project is in good progress and quality, with safety and environmental control.

• Coordinates project works such as A&A works, renovation etc
• Assist Project Manager in all on-site technical/ engineering matters and authority submissions
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship
• Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors
• Preparation of Method Of Statement, Sequence of Works and any other technical documents
• Co-ordinate with Clients / Sub Contractors / Suppliers / Consultants
• Plan & Track the project progress with the help of the Project managers and Supervisors and aligning with the Project Completion Timeline
• Supervise and ensure projects are carried out in accordance to company's operating procedures, quality standards & contractual specifications
• Ensuring all site personnel are carrying out works in accordance to statutory compliance & client's requirements
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Foundation, Structural and Building works
• Good knowledge on method statements
• Ensuring environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all times
• Other adhoc duties by Management assigned from time to time
