Job Description

We are partnering with an established engineering organisation in Singapore to identify an experienced Project Director – Electrical for a major upcoming project.

This is a senior leadership position for someone who has successfully managed large-scale electrical / M&E projects and is comfortable taking ownership across project delivery, commercial performance, client management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall strategic, operational and financial delivery of major electrical projects.
Oversee project planning, execution, resource allocation, cost control and final handover.
Take ownership of project profitability, forecasting and commercial performance.
Lead major contract negotiations, variations, claims and commercial matters.
Act as the senior point of contact for clients, consultants, main contractors and relevant authorities.
Manage and mentor Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and engineering teams.
Drive project governance, quality, safety and operational performance.
Oversee major vendors and subcontractor relationships.
Ensure project milestones are achieved within schedule, budget and technical requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of relevant electrical project delivery experience, with strong senior leadership exposure.
Proven experience managing large-scale electrical / M&E / infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial knowledge across contracts, claims, variations and cost management.
Able to manage senior stakeholders and high-value client relationships.
Experience reviewing electrical / vendor drawings.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in mission-critical, utility, industrial or hyperscale projects will be highly advantageous.
PE or related professional qualification will be advantageous.
