Project Director (Airport Construction)

Responsibilities

1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of airport hangar construction and airport expansion projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and schedule.

2. Oversee master planning, design coordination, engineering integration, and construction execution for wide-span aircraft hangars and related airport infrastructure.

3. Manage project teams including design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and technical specialists across civil, structural, MEPF, and aviation systems.

4. Provide strategic leadership for large-scale airport infrastructure development, ensuring alignment with aviation authority regulations and international airport standards.

5. Direct project governance including risk management, contract administration, procurement strategy, and change management.

6. Coordinate closely with airport authorities, aviation regulators, airlines, and government stakeholders to ensure project compliance and operational integration.

7. Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring financial performance and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Lead construction planning for high-clearance hangars, wide-span steel structures, heavy MEPF integration, and specialized aviation systems.

9. Establish strong HSE and quality assurance frameworks, ensuring adherence to international safety and construction standards.

10. Mentor and develop project managers and engineering teams, fostering high-performance project delivery capability within the organization.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (Master's Degree preferred).

2. Minimum 15-20 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale airport hangar or aviation infrastructure projects.

3. Proven experience in wide-span steel structural systems, aircraft hangars, airport expansion, and heavy MEPF integration.

4. Strong leadership experience managing multinational project teams, contractors, and government stakeholders in complex infrastructure environments.

5. Willingness to relocate and be based in the Philippines for long-term project deployment.
