Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Designer, based in Singapore. As we expand our creative team, CLO Haus is seeking a Project Designer who will work closely with our Design Architect to bring design concepts to life across landed residential projects. The Project Designer will collaborate with clients to develop creative and functional design concepts, create construction drawings, and manage submittals. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the space planning process, coordinating design elements with architectural requirements, and ensuring the successful management and completion of projects from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Conceptual Development
- Support the Design Architect in developing refined design concepts, spatial narratives, and project storylines.
- Produce highquality mood boards, material palettes, 3D visual development, and presentation decks that reflect the CLO signature luxury aesthetic.
- Translate conceptual direction into detailed, elegant spatial solutions.
Technical Design & Documentation
- Prepare precise technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and detailed design documentation that align with architectural direction.
- Ensure all design specifications, finishes, and details maintain the CLO Haus standard of luxury craftsmanship.
- Coordinate closely with the Design Architect during design refinement and detailresolution phases.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and craftsmen to ensure design integrity throughout the build process.
- Conduct site visits with the Design Architect to assess progress, confirm measurements, and resolve design queries.
- Support the creation of mockups, prototypes, and detailing studies when required.
Client Collaboration
- Participate with the Design Architect in client meetings and presentations.
- Assist in preparing design packages and ensure design intent is communicated with clarity, confidence, and refinement.
- Incorporate client feedback while preserving aesthetic consistency and project vision.
Material Sourcing & Styling
- Work with the procurement team to source premium materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings that align with the design direction.
- Curate styling elements and accessories that elevate the final handover experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Submittals and Construction Drawings, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture to design innovative and functional environments
- Experience with Project Management, including planning, coordination, and execution
- Proficient in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of construction practices and regulations in Singapore is an advantage
