Interior Designer - Retail Construction Project (Design & Build)

Job Description & Requirements

Businesses that partner with DMX come in all shapes, sizes and budget, and no one have solution that works for all. Your knowledge in creative design combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-connection skills, you manage all aspects of the design and design coordination during execution. Working with the team, you set the creative design and design direction on the right direction and work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Directors.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Produce concept design, space planning, material samples and presentation

- Capable to produce tender documentation and detail drawings

- Ensure project complies with design specifications and building regulations

- Able to handle project independently from inception to completion with direct liaison with clients & consultants.

- Attend client meetings and reporting of design progress

- Outspoken, persuasive & influential to acquire best value from vendors.

Experience & Skill set

- Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office is a must

- At least 1-2 year of working experience in Commercial Retail Interior Design

- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent

- With excellent communication skills to pass the message over

Able to multi-task and work as an individual or part of a team in dynamic environment.
