Project Coordinator (M&E)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all Mechanical & Electrical works from planning to completion

• Coordinate M&E services including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary, ELV, and related systems

• Review and coordinate M&E shop drawings, combined services drawings, technical submissions, and as-built drawings

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and authorities on M&E technical matters and site coordination issues

• Monitor M&E installation progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications

• Coordinate testing & commissioning activities and ensure timely rectification of defects

• Assist in authority submissions, inspections, and permit applications related to M&E works

• Support procurement and delivery coordination for M&E materials and equipment

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements

• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, technical records, and project updates

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant project coordination experience preferred

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with good coordination and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with authority submission processes and workplace safety requirements

• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders effectively

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field

• Experience in M&E coordination, services installation, or building systems

• Knowledge of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary, and other building services systems

• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications

• Experience in hospitality, commercial, office, retail, or fast-track fit-out projects preferred
