The role of a Project Coordinator in landscape management is vital for ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of landscaping projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise landscaping teams, providing direction and support.
- Conduct training and development for staff on landscape techniques and safety protocols.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that landscaping work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Budget Management:
- Assist in preparing project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Track expenses and manage resource allocation effectively.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or changes.
- Provide regular updates on project status and timelines.
(B) General :
- To prepare and submit progress reports.
- To maintain proper documentation for all projects.
- To coordinate and work with other departments.
- To engage, coordinate and oversee all project works to ensure successful completion and handing over to Clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
(C) Safety:
- Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols.
Job Requirements
(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training:
- Diploma in Landscape Architectural /Design/Project Management or related technical certification in landscaping.
- Preferably possesses a certificate in Horticulture.
(B) Knowledge & Skills :
- Well-versed with Landscapes Service.
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Independent and Team Player.
- Proactive and able to take initiative.
- Committed and responsibility.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
(C) Experience:
- Preferably with 2-3 years working experience in the related field.
