Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

The role of a Project Coordinator in landscape management is vital for ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of landscaping projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise landscaping teams, providing direction and support.
  • Conduct training and development for staff on landscape techniques and safety protocols.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that landscaping work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in preparing project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Track expenses and manage resource allocation effectively.

Client Interaction:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or changes.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and timelines.

(B) General :

  • To prepare and submit progress reports.
  • To maintain proper documentation for all projects.
  • To coordinate and work with other departments.
  • To engage, coordinate and oversee all project works to ensure successful completion and handing over to Clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

  • Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training:

  • Diploma in Landscape Architectural /Design/Project Management or related technical certification in landscaping.
  • Preferably possesses a certificate in Horticulture.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

  • Well-versed with Landscapes Service.
  • Good interpersonal skill.
  • Independent and Team Player.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Committed and responsibility.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.

(C) Experience:

  • Preferably with 2-3 years working experience in the related field.
