We are looking for a Project Coordinator to provide support to the Engineering and Building Management team. The job holder will ensure the smooth operation, documentation, and administration for upcoming engineering projects. This role will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the project stays on schedule and budget and meets all technical and operational requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate engineering and building services capex and ad hoc projects ensuring project goals and objectives are achieved within the deadline
- Manage projects documentation with contractors.
- Draft project specifications for EBM projects
- Liaise with authorities to review and prepare mandatory report submission
- Carry out project administrative tasks
- Assist in tracking and preparing presentations and project schedule updates
- Assist in estimation of project costs for forecasting.
- Collate and keep track on project progress and prepare monthly reports.
- Manage the documentation, filing and archiving relating to project documents for reference and audit purposes.
- Provide planning, coordination, and arrangement with inter-department for proper work execution without compromising center day to day operation.
- Monitor and tracking of project programs including daily project activities, project expenditures, and site progress to ensure work is proceeding according to the plan.
- Execute CAPEX work, supervise contractors and ensure that they are performing the work in accordance to requirements, conduct regular site inspection and ensure that the quality of work are at highest standard.
- Assist engineers & building services in sourcing quotations, drafting of Invitation to Quote (ITQ), and conducting site show round to contractors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 3 years of working experience in engineering building maintenance and A&A projects with commercial buildings or hotels.
- Engineering design and installation experience with M&E consultants and contractors is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate good understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, lighting controls, plumbing & sanitary and fire alarm systems.
- Communications and teamwork skills are crucial.
- Knowledge & experience in operating Autocad or BIM is added advantage.
- Salary range : $3,300 - $3,500
