About the role
As Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-daycoordination and successful delivery of construction projects. This full-time positionrequires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the abilityto collaborate effectively with various project stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities
- Coordinating and communicating with project team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes and change orders
- Monitoring project budgets and expenses, and alerting the Project Manager of any discrepancies
- Identifying and addressing potential issues or risks, and implementing suitable mitigation strategies
- Providing administrative support, such as processing invoices and maintaining project files
- Ensuring compliance with relevant construction regulations and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Strong project coordination experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
- Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
