Key Responsibilities
Cost Management
- Prepare, manage, and maintain project budgets including: Turret repair Class repairs Hull/steel renewal Piping Machinery costs.
- Monitor commitments, actual expenditures, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Change Management
- Administer the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of Change Requests (CRs) from shipyards and consultants.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and workflow compliance.
Progress Measurement & Reporting
- Develop and implement project performance metrics including: CPI (Cost Performance Index)SPI (Schedule Performance Index)Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Prepare monthly project reports covering cost, schedule, progress, and risks.
- Provide commercial and financial insights during contractor negotiations.
Risk & Contract Compliance
- Maintain project financial risk registers and monitor contingency utilization.
- Support Project Managers in: Contract compliance Claims assessment Commercial closeout activities
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and contractual obligations.
Requirements : -
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in project controls, cost control, or commercial management.
- Experience in marine, shipyard preferred.
- Strong communication and management skills.
