Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise data governance strategy, including policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, retention, and accountability frameworks to strengthen data trust and consistency
- Partner with stakeholders across corporate and research units to embed data governance into daily operations
- Provide expert guidance on data management, compliance, and IM8 alignment
- Oversee data incidents, resolution, and continuous improvement of controls
- Drive adoption of data management technologies, including AI, analytics, and automation
- Improve data discovery, classification, quality, metadata, and lifecycle management
- Enhance enterprise data visibility and decision-making through standardisation and governance tools
- Stay ahead of emerging data and AI trends to future-proof capabilities
- Lead digital and data transformation initiatives across the organisation
- Build and mentor a high-performing data governance team
- Drive organisational change, capability uplift, and process excellence
Requirements:
- 8+ years in data management, with 3+ years in leadership
- Strong experience in data governance frameworks in large organisations
- Proven stakeholder management and transformation experience
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and people leadership skills
- Experience in enterprise data governance, compliance, and change management
