Job Description

As the Project Control Manager (PCM), you will work closely with the Project Manager to establish and manage effective project control systems, including planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost monitoring, and reporting.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality, contractual, and technical standards.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
Monitor project performance against approved schedules, budgets, and milestones, identifying potential delays, cost variances, and areas requiring corrective action.
Implement and manage risk, expenditure, change, and cost-control processes to support effective project governance.
Establish and report Earned Value (EV) and other key project performance indicators to measure progress and forecast project outcomes.
Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
Ensure project delivery remains aligned with contractual obligations, financial targets, operational requirements, and approved project objectives.
Provide timely analysis and recommendations on project performance, trends, risks, and recovery measures.

Job Requirements

At least 8 years of relevant experience in project controls, planning, or project management within the construction or engineering industry.
Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, and project reporting.
Proficient in project scheduling and planning software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), cost forecasting, change management, and risk management will be advantageous.
Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly PUB or other public-sector projects, would be an advantage.
