Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Quantity Surveying (QS) team by setting clear targets and driving performance to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee project P&L through effective contract administration and cost management to meet financial goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor structured systems for QS operations, contract management, and cost control to improve efficiency.
- Analyze project costs, including inter-project and inter-company charges, to optimize budgeting and resource allocation.
- Manage contractual and cost-related matters by working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution and settlement.
- Take full accountability for project cost management and contractual settlements while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Negotiate, prepare, and administer various construction contracts to protect company interests and support project execution.
- Leverage strong knowledge of construction law and contract management to effectively manage risks and contractual obligations.
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support informed decision-making and smooth project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating, drafting, and managing a wide range of construction contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of construction law, contract management practices, and risk mitigation techniques.
- Min 8 years of relevant experience in construction contract administration and cost management.
- Holds a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong commercial insight and problem-solving skills to address and resolve contractual challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
